“Kei te rere te wairua o te tamaiti, me te ora o te Maori.
The uniqueness of the child flies within their spirit.”
Head Teacher, Dale Wilkie, with teachers Annette Orotaunga, Gina Braybrook-Carter and Samantha Miller champion children to “shoot for the stars” at Riverdale Kindergarten.
They are qualified kindergarten teachers who ensure that all learning is celebrated and children are nurtured holistically.
At Riverdale Kindergarten people are important; seeing the world through children’s eyes motivates our thoughts. We are contributors to children’s learning. We teach, we learn, we grow together. We preserve and strengthen children’s thinking and actions. As teachers we are passionate about celebrating the early childhood years and value the power of positive thought, by recognising potentials for all. Shoot for the stars!
At Riverdale Kindergarten children experience a creative, expressive, literacy rich environment. Our aim as early childhood educators is to celebrate this unique stage in childhood by providing many learning opportunities for children by creating a stimulating, challenging environment.
We recognise and respond to children’s individual strengths and interests within the curriculum.
