Learning is fun through play

At Rutene Road Kindergarten we believe that by the coming together of the people (whakawhanaungatanga) tamariki will have guided opportunities to take responsibility for their own learning, and support others (ako) to become confident and competent communicators (manaakitanga), be critical and creative thinkers (rangatiratanga) and demonstrate empathy and care (kaitiakitanga) for the living world (te ao), this will sustain lifelong learning.

The members of our professional teaching team are Head Teacher Sarah Fergusson and teachers, Abbey McKenzie, Amelia Williams and Ruthy Donnell, Sarah Brenton-Rule and Abbey Austin assists us as kindergarten aide.  We encourage you to come and visit and enjoy our wonderful learning environment.
